As part of the campaign, we created this microsite to give people a place to access information about the fare hikes as well as TransitChek options and a way to calculate how much each plan could save them annually. We also added a video component that showed what people thought of the fare hikes and how the increases were going to effect them and how they planned on adapting. This element added a personal and social aspect to the campaign and allowed people to talk and connect.

As another way to engage commuters, we created this AMNY wrap to be distributed to countless commuters on their morning commutes during the weeks leading up to the fare hikes. By capturing the attention of commuters as they commuted and informed them about commuter benefits and savings, we were able to really create buzz and conversations about the hikes and ways to adapt to the increased costs of commuting.

When better to discuss commuting costs then as riders commute. Placing ads in subway cars was another step in our approach to get the message out about the fare hikes and how TransitChek can help commuters offset the costs with pre-tax programs. Again, this placement made our messaging relevant, engaging and ultimately effective with NYC mass transit riders.
